Leak & Flow testing

Proof that it holds — at production speed, on every part, not on a sample.

A leak is one of the cheapest defects to make and one of the most expensive to ship. A catheter, a battery pack, a food pack, a fuel line: the part looks finished, passes visual inspection, and the failure only surfaces at the customer.

USON builds leak and flow test systems that settle it on the line, in seconds, with a traceable pass or fail. We match the method to the part and the cycle time — pressure decay for a sealed device, differential pressure where the leak rate is very small, vacuum decay for a package, mass flow where something is supposed to pass through rather than stay in.

Methods and applications

Sealed devices and packaging: a pressure drop that should not be there.

Comparison against a reference volume, for very small leak rates — typical in automotive.

Sealed packaging and medical products.

Verifying flow through a component, and finding blockages.

Structural strength, and confirmation that nothing is blocked.

From manual bench testers to fully automated production systems: Sprint mD, Qualitek mR, Astra Dash, Optima vT.

Medical devices, automotive and EV batteries, packaging, industrial manufacturing, consumer products.

What has to hold, and how fast does the line run?
