Vibration

A product survives the warehouse and fails in the truck. Vibration testing finds that out in the laboratory, not in a customer complaint.

Between your loading dock and your customer, a package is shaken for hours at frequencies nobody designed it for, then dropped, tipped and stacked.

Vibration and shock testing reproduces that journey under controlled conditions. You find the resonant frequencies of the product and of the pack, you see where the fragility sits, and you can change the design before the first pallet ships.

What we test

Vibration tables, hydraulic systems and electrodynamic shakers, to identify resonant frequencies and reproduce the random vibration of the distribution environment.

Shock testers and inclined impact testers measure the fragility of a product and how it responds to a defined shock input.

Drop testing that reproduces the handling a parcel actually receives, from the fulfilment centre to the doorstep.

Data loggers that record the shock and vibration of a real shipment, so your laboratory profile is based on your own route rather than on an assumption.

Does your packaging survive the journey?

Tell us where your product ships and how it travels. We will propose a way to reproduce that journey in the laboratory.
